LOCATION: We will be staying at the Puakea Ranch Sept 7-11th. There are a few tent & cot setups at the ranch available to a few additional guests interested in camping. You are also welcome to bring your own gear if so inclined, but let us know as the ranch does charge a nightly fee. Mostly family is going to be taking up the cottages, but please email me linng@me.com if you are interested in staying onsite. There are also local hotels/resorts I will list below as possible places to stay. Of Course Air BnB can be a good option as well!
Here is a list of hotel/motel/resorts closeby to stay. First couple are in Hawi which is just a couple minutes down the road. Its a pretty cute hippie town with a nice coffee shop and restaurants to eat at. These options are probably on the more affordable end:
- Kohala Village Inn
- Hawaii Island Retreat
- Kohala Hotel
These Options are about 20-30 Minutes away are your more typical resorts here on the kona coast side. Most have golf courses etc:
- Waikaloa Hilton
- Mauna Kea Resort
- Hapuna Prince
ACTIVITIES: We hope to schedule a couple fun things during our stay. You're all welcome to join in. We might do a manta ray night dive/snorkel, or a hike down into the nearby Polulu Valley, a daytrip to the top of Mauna Kea to see the telescopes. I know people are interested in going to the volcano, which I would recommend as well, but its a good 3.5 hr drive one way and pretty hard to do within a single day without becomming exhausted with all the hiking and sightseeing in the area. Id recommend it be an overnight trip to anyone wanting to explore the other end of the island. There are pools at the ranch and grills at the cottages and a bonfire pit. We will likely be grilling lots of food and relaxing by the pools and bonfires at night.

Please do not send us cash or gifts if you are attending!
It means more than anything to us if you make the journey to be with us in person on our memorable day! Even if you are unable to attend, no gifts are necessary. We understand that some of you will be compelled to formally give, so we created a couple useful registry links above to make it easier for anyone that does want to contribute to the wedding/honeymoon/home. Thank you in advance for the kind generosity!
Mahalo!
